1979-1986 Mustang Hatchback Rear Seat Delete Kit
Throw out those ugly, useless rear seats! This kit is designed to give a "factory look" to your Mustang while creating optimal space and storage. The kit features two access doors - one where the rear seat used to be and one above the spare tire area. These storage areas are perfect for battery relocation, stereo equipment, NOS bottles or air bag suspension equipment. The kit itself is designed to follow the contours of the panels allowing for a snug fit. The kits come in you choice of standard colors Black, SVO Gray, Light Gray. Other colors available upon request (i.e red, blue and tan). Each color is matched as closely as possible to the original factory color carpet. This kit weighs approximately 40 lbs (about the same as the rear seat and all of its brackets). If weight is a concern, check out our lightweight version. Kits are made to order.
